Princesses and Superheroes

It is probably pretty obvious how we chose the name for this blog. Anyone who knows Jake knows that he never wears a shirt and he always wears a cape. Our boys are superheroes and our girls are princesses. I am very excited to be able to journal this way and let everyone have a little glimpse of our everyday lives.

Our garden is growing!

We are seriously proud of our garden. We have tomatos, onions, strawberries, canteloupe, bell peppers, rhubarb, peas and beans. We are pretty excited to reap the benefits of this garden.


Don't these strawberries look yummy. They are small but the have a ton of flavor.

These are what I am most excited about. There is nothing better than a tomato straight from the garden. When it is warmed from the sun and then you add some salt. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Maybe we will share if we have any left overs :)

Happy Birthday to Me!

Here we go people. I have a blog. Expect great things. He...he...he. I am pretty excited to share the news of our family with everyone. Today was my birthday. It was a great day. David got me a small digital camera so hopefully I will keep this updated with lots of picutres. Our first bit of news is that Joelle and Emma were both chosen to be student of the month this month. Happy Birthday to me. They loved sharing that party together. Also, Katie got her first two teeth last week. The first was her bottom right on Tues. and the left on Thurs. Busy week for us. I just wanted to get this posted, but I promise I'll get pictures up soon.
