The dentist office we went to was awesome and did a great job explaining everything to Katie. She was allowed to touch the tools to get familiar with them before they used them in her mouth. Katie did such a great job letting the dental assistant do her work that they were able to get some x-rays of her teeth.
She liked wearing the sunglasses and watching the TV show (Garfield) on the TV mounted on the ceiling. Her favorite part of the entire visit was the suction hose. That and the bag of goodies she came away with. She got a new tooth brush, dental floss, toothpaste, a ice cream cone shaped bottle of bubbles, and a few stickers.
She is excited to go back for another appointment. Which is great since she has a few cavities to take care of.

Oh no! Sorry to hear Katie has a few cavities!!! Hopefully she'll still think the dentist is fun after she gets them filled. She looks so cute sitting in that chair!
I want to go to that dentist!! I agree with Amy...hopefully Katie will still like going to the dentist after her fillings! Can't wait to see you in less than 2 weeks!!
Cavities! No fun, I have not had to battle that one yet. She is so cute though! miss you
O.K. I cannot stop laughing at that picture. I can just imagine how much they loved her at that dentist's office! I didn't get any goodies when I went to the dentist this week. (Just a big bill!)What's with that?
Cavities...what a surprise! They don't call it a "SWEET TOOTH" for nothing! She'll do fine as long as they fill them all at the same appt. I wouldn't try taking her twice for that experience!
Oh I laughed at how cute Katie is! This has to be one of my favorite pix. She is so cute and with those silly sunglasses to boot. What a cute girl! Way to go Katie!
